Rolex requires that only CW21 watchmakers repair their watches. You should also insist on this. We proudly display our watchmakers CW21 certificate in our store. Please ask to see it.
CW21 stands for 21st Century Certified Watchmaker. This distinctive designation is from the American Watchmakers, Clockmakers Institute and assures that the watchmaker has successfully completed testing on various chronograph, automatic and quartz watches. There are less than 300 CW21 watchmakers in America…
When we receive your watch, our CW21* watchmaker and trained staff will inspect your watch for condition and give you an estimate while you wait. If mailed to us, we’ll call you with the estimate the day the watch is received.
The case is removed from the bracelet. The serial and model numbers are recorded in our database. The movement is dismantled and each part is inspected before being ultrasonically cleaned in a special chemical solution.
At LeeBrant, we have a parts account with most Swiss watch companies, where we order and use only the manufacturer’s genuine parts. Included in our service are replacement of the gaskets and replacement of acrylic crystals on the models which have them.
The movement is carefully reassembled using the different viscosities of lubricants required by the manufacturer. Rolex requires up to five different lubricants, assuring that your timepiece will last for years to come and perform within the manufacturer’s standards.
After assembly of the movement, it is calibrated to manufacturer’s exacting standards. The movement is tested for several days in different positions, assuring you of optimum performance.
We refinish the case and bracelet to restore them as close as possible to the original luster and finish.
The case and movement are carefully reassembled.
Each watch is pressure tested using three different steps to assure your watch meets water resistance to depths required by each manufacturer.
The final step is attaching the bracelet or strap to the case and examining the finish and accuracy of your watch.
Our high quality of service and our expertise allows LeeBrant to offer a two-year Service Guarantee. Excluded from this guarantee are issues due to any abuse or mishandling of the watch (by will or accident) or the opening of the case by any unauthorized third party.
